Event Layout: A layout of the event with assigned vendor spaces will be sent out one day prior to the event as we often have last-minute vendor changes.
Parking: You may pull into our main driveway to unload your display and merchandise. After unloading, please move your vehicle to the vendor parking area as quickly as possible to allow other vendors to access their spaces. All vendor vehicles must be moved to the vendor parking area by 9:30am. We will be utilizing the front parking area near the farm stand for handicap parking only.
Set-Up: You may set up your tables and displays either Friday evening from 4-7pm or Saturday morning from 8:30-10:30am. If you set up on Friday, please be sure to contact us so we are expecting you and do not leave any merchandise overnight. Again, all vendor vehicles must be moved to the vendor parking area by 10:30am. If you have not arrived by 10:00am, we will assume you are a no-show and reassign your space to another vendor. If you know you will be late due to circumstances beyond your control, please text or call Missy at 443-465-3208 so that you can be reassigned to a space with easier access that will prevent impeding or endangering event attendees.
Electricity: If you have requested electricity, there is a $10 charge, which must be pre-paid. Vendors are responsible for providing their own grounded extension cord(s).
Take-Down Take-down will begin as close to the event end time as is safe, depending upon customer traffic. Plan to remain open until the event end time. Please do not begin breaking down your display early as this can cause safety issues for shoppers and also looks unprofessional. All merchandise and displays must be removed when vendor leaves the premises.
Vendor Fee: One half of your vendor fee is a non-refundable space reservation. The other half will be refunded if 1) you cancel at least 7 days prior and we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist or 2) if the entire event must be cancelled on both the event date and inclement weather date, at the sole discretion of Wishing Star Farm & Wellness. Please note that the event will go on in the case of rain showers.
Content Wishing Star Farm is a place to gather and grow. We host events with the intention of spreading light, love and abundance out into the community. Therefore, our events are meant to be festive, positive and family-friendly. No inappropriate, offensive or inflammatory messaging or merchandise will be permitted, at the sole discretion of Wishing Star Farm owners.
We welcome individuals from all faiths, cultures and belief systems at the farm, so we ask that our vendors be welcoming and inclusive to all.
Displays: You are welcome to utilize tables, chairs and free-standing displays as long as they fit within your designated space. If you have an outdoor space, you may also bring your own canopy. If you are using tables for your display, please bring cloths to cover the table, preferably to the ground. This helps maintain a welcoming appearance for the show. Wishing Star Farm does not provide tables and chairs. Please also keep in mind that most of the spaces will be set up on grass and some may have a slight slope. As a reminder, Wishing Star Farm does not provide tables or chairs.
Weather: Please dress for the weather as this is an outdoor event, and it will go on rain or shine, with the exception of highly inclement or dangerous weather. In addition to the temperature, be sure to plan for wind as well as sun. Weigh down your displays and remember your sunscreen! If you require shade, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Sales Tax: The collection and payment of sales taxes are the responsibility of each vendor. You may contact the state comptroller’s office to obtain a temporary license if needed.
Health & Wellness: We recommend that each vendor have hand sanitizer at your space for use by you and your customers. Please note that by participating in the event, you release Wishing Star Farm and its owners from any COVID-related claims.
Insurance: Wishing Star Farm does not provide insurance for vendors participating in the market. Each vendor is responsible for his/her own liability insurance. All food vendors are required to have liability insurance and adequate coverage for persons working within their booths and must provide a certificate of insurance 24 hours prior to the event. It must list Donald and Melissa Teague and Wishing Star Farm & Stables LLC as additional insureds.
Liability: All vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wishing Star Farm and its owners from and against any and all losses, liabilities, costs, expenses (including amounts paid in settlements and reasonable attorney’s fees), claims, penalties, judgments and damages, resulting from any omission or negligence of the property owners or other vendors in any way connected with or arising out of any accident, injury, damage or theft.
