Walk-Through: All vendors are welcome to schedule a walk-through to familiarize yourself with the property and layout of the event.
Layout: A layout of the event with assigned vendor spaces will be sent out one week prior to the Holiday Market.
Parking: You may pull into our main driveway to unload your display and merchandise. After unloading, please move your vehicle to the parking area in the lower field. We will be utilizing the front parking area near the farm stand for handicap parking only.
Set-Up: You may set up your tables and displays either Friday afternoon (2-5pm) or Saturday morning beginning at 7:30am. If you set up on Friday, do not leave any merchandise overnight.
Electricity: If you have requested electricity, there is a $10 charge. Vendors are responsible for providing their own extension cord(s).
Take-Down Take-down will begin as close to 4pm as is safe, depending upon customer traffic. All merchandise and displays must be removed when vendor leaves the premises.
Vendor Fee: The vendor fee is 20% of sales, up to a maximum of $40. A $20 deposit is required to hold your vendor space. The remaining vendor fee, as well as payment for any electricity or rented table(s), is due prior to leaving the premises at the close of the event. If you wish to cancel due to COVID concerns, you must do so by noon on Monday, November 23, 2020, to receive a refund of your $20 deposit. Because we will be committing to significant expenses at that point, we will be unable to issue any refunds for any reason after that time.
Content The Holiday Market is meant to be a festive, family-friendly event. No inappropriate, offensive or inflammatory messaging or merchandise will be permitted, at the sole discretion of Wishing Star Farm owners.
Displays: You are welcome to utilize tables, chairs and free-standing displays as long as they fit within your designated space. If you have an outdoor space, you may also bring your own canopy. If you are using tables for your display, please bring cloths to cover the table, preferably to the ground. This helps maintain a welcoming appearance for the show. Wishing Star Farm is only providing tables to those who have signed up to rent them.
Weather: Please dress for the weather as this is an open-air event. The front wall of the main barn will be open as well.
Sales Tax: The collection and payment of sales taxes are the responsibility of each vendor. You may contact the state comptroller’s office to obtain a temporary license if needed. By state law, we are required to submit a list of vendors to the Comptroller's office. If you do not have a license, they will then assign one to you. You do not need to do anything and there is no charge to you.
COVID: To keep this event as safe as possible for everyone, all vendors and shoppers must wear masks at all times, and we ask that you maintain social distancing as much as possible. Each vendor must also have hand sanitizer at your space for use by you and your customers. If you have a fever, are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms or have tested positive at any time between November 15-27, you may not participate in the Holiday Market. Please note that by participating in the Holiday Market, you release Wishing Star Farm and its owners from any COVID-related claims.
Insurance: Wishing Star Farm does not provide insurance for vendors participating in the market. Each vendor is responsible for his/her own liability insurance. All food vendors are required to have liability insurance and adequate coverage for persons working within their booths.
Liability: All vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wishing Star Farm and its owners from and against any and all losses, liabilities, costs, expenses (including amounts paid in settlements and reasonable attorney’s fees), claims, penalties, judgments and damages, resulting from any omission or negligence of the property owners or other vendors in any way connected with or arising out of any accident, injury, damage or theft.
