Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes relaxation and stress reduction. In short, Reiki works by channeling energy through the practitioner's hands, promoting balance and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit.
A Reiki Circle provides participants with a supportive space to discuss & experience this gentle and transformative energy.
Possible benefits include stress reduction & relaxation, increased energy & vitality, emotional and mental well-being & enhanced overall sense of balance.
Our gathering begins with opening sacred space & 20-25 minute sound journey. Each month there will be a different offering of healing sounds, including instruments such as Native American flutes, crystal singing bowls, the mystical handpan & more, with all vibrations infused with Reiki for the greatest good!
After meditation & music, we transition to the Reiki Circle portion! There will be a short introduction of Reiki, including how those not trained in Reiki can still send healing energy! We'll spend a few minutes sending universal love energy to the Earth together for healing, then a few minutes will be spent channeling Reiki to each participant. As time allows, we'll share our experiences before opening the Circle, yet never breaking it.
We will be gathering in the farm's Star Barn! The barn is heated with portable heaters in cooler months and it's recommended to bring extra layers for your comfort.
Homegrown hot herbal tea will be provided.
Things to bring:
• Sitting cushion or yoga mat, if desired for sound bath (folding metal chairs available)
• pillow, blanket, journal... anything you think will make your experience as comfortable as possible
• Water bottle
• An open heart
