Handpan Hangout & Sound Sanctuary

Join us in July & August at Wishing Star Farm for a special edition of Twilight Sound Immersion. This event will start with a community based gathering for handpan players and people curious about playing varying instruments used during Sound healing performances. Whether you are new to playing the handpan or curious about the instrument, come see what it's all about and join us from 4:30- 6:30pm for an explorative session of community music play.

Don't have a hand pan but want to come? Dont worry, there will be instruments provided including frame drums, shakers, djembes, a few extra hand pans and acoustic instruments floating around.

After the community music play, we will move into our weekly scheduled sound bath. Stay for both or come for one. The choice is yours.

Every Thursday from 6:45 to 7:45p, guests listen & travel with the relaxing sounds of instruments, journeying with handpans, vocalizations, singing bowls, percussive elementals and the gong. This 1 hour sound meditation, will help participants into the theta brain wave state where the body is known to rest and digest. Sound healing is an ancient practice that is known to have many powerful effects on both the mind and body. This meditative technique is good tool for inner world exploration, if you experience stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD, as well as those simply looking for a relaxing evening after the regular hustle bustle of daily routine. Many people who attend sound baths have experiences similar to those of the R.E.M. or dream state.

July hosts: Sarah Paz Hyde & Bridgette Jester
