Walk-Through: All vendors are welcome to schedule a walk-through to familiarize yourself with the property and layout of the event. This must be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Layout: A layout of the event with assigned vendor spaces will be sent out 1-2 days prior to the event.
Parking: You may pull into our main driveway to unload your display and merchandise. After unloading, please move your vehicle to the vendor parking area as quickly as possible to allow other vendors to access their spaces.
Set-Up: You may set up your tables and displays beginning at 9:30am. Please note: All vendor vehicles must be moved to the vendor parking area by 10:30am. If you have not arrived by 10:00am, we will assume you are a no-show and may reassign your space to another vendor.
Take-Down Take-down will begin as close to the event end time as is safe, depending upon customer traffic. Plan to remain open until the event end time. Please do not begin breaking down your display early as this can cause safety issues for shoppers and also looks unprofessional. All merchandise and displays must be removed when vendor leaves the premises.
Vendor Fee: Your vendor fee is a non-refundable space reservation unless 1) you cancel at least 7 days prior and we are able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist or 2) if the entire event must be cancelled.
Content The event is meant to be a festive, family-friendly event. No inappropriate, offensive or inflammatory messaging or merchandise will be permitted, at the sole discretion of Wishing Star Farm owners.
Displays: Barn spaces are approximate 8'x8'. You are welcome to utilize tables, chairs and free-standing displays as long as they fit within your designated space. If you would like to set up outside barn, you may utilize a larger area, and you may also bring your own canopy. If you are using tables for your display, please bring cloths to cover the table, preferably to the ground. This helps maintain a welcoming appearance for the show. Wishing Star Farm does not provide tables and chairs.
Weather: Please dress for the outdoor temperatures as the barn is an open-air facility. While we do have patio heaters during colder months and fans during hotter months, they do not greatly impact temperatures in the barn.
Complimentary Food & Beverage: Any complimentary food and beverages to offered as part of the events are for customers only. You are welcome to bring your own to enjoy during the event.
Sales Tax: The collection and payment of sales taxes are the responsibility of each vendor. You may contact the state comptroller’s office to obtain a temporary license if needed.
Insurance: Wishing Star Farm does not provide insurance for vendors participating in the market. Each vendor is responsible for his/her own liability insurance. All food vendors are required to have liability insurance and adequate coverage for persons working within their booths and must provide a certificate of insurance 24 hours prior to the event. It must list Donald and Melissa Teague and Wishing Star Farm & Stables LLC as additional insureds.
Liability: All vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wishing Star Farm and its owners from and against any and all losses, liabilities, costs, expenses (including amounts paid in settlements and reasonable attorney’s fees), claims, penalties, judgments and damages, resulting from any omission or negligence of the property owners or other vendors in any way connected with or arising out of any accident, injury, damage or theft.
